We create an environment where your child feels at home, relaxed and ready to learn. We prefer that the first few days the children should go home early as they still don’t know us.

Of course! Parents can come any time.

One of our programs goals is to communicate openly with the parents. Weekly folder is sent to the parents with everything that your child did in the classroom. Naturally you can speak to your Child’s teacher throughout the term.

We don’t provide any food .You provide your child with the things that he likes to eat.

No the children don’t wear uniform. You also provide extra clothes for your child to be kept in the nursery and a towel which will be given every Thursday.

If a comforting toy is needed to ease the transition to nursery we are happy for the child to have these until they are settled. We request that children do not bring toys or stuffed animals after they are settled as we have many, many materials here for them.

With our student diversity we try to recognize the holidays of many cultures – Birthdays, ministry declared holidays, Eid, Prophet Muhammad Birth… etc.

The nursery accepts children in nappies, and the staff will continue with your Childs toilet training in conjunction with the parents. Please provide nappies and an extra set of labeled clothing.

If so we will sent him to the nurse and call their parents. If the nursery feels your child needs doctor attention she will call you and if unable we will take your child to NMC Hospital.

We have no authority to give medicine at the Nursery. If your child becomes sick during nursery hours we will contact you and ask you to take your child home. Pre school children have a low resistance to infection and if your child has a cold / runny nose, diarrhea or vomiting, we ask you not to send him/her to nursery until he/she is better. This will avoid a complete circle of infection within the classroom and lead to a quicker recovery.

We use Time Out, which is a brief time spent away from the activities, for behaviour that is unacceptable, such as biting, hitting etc. The child is asked to sit somewhere else (within the supervised area) and is welcomed back to the group when he/she feels better.

  • All children should have a spare set of underwear, which will be kept in a bag, supplied by the Nursery
  • A small hand towel with a loop to hang it up classes need to bring one as we have paper towels in the bathrooms).
  • A packet of nappies and baby wipes (if necessary).
  • You will need to have a lunch box (preferably cool box type), and a beaker if required.
  • Snack food is provided by the parents.
  • Chocolate, fizzy drinks and any form of nuts are not allowed in the Nursery, due to the high incidence of allergy and the risk of choking.
  • All items must be labeled.

We understand that the settling in period can be a very difficult time for both parents and children. Our settling in policy is based on the fact that familiarity encourages trust and confidence in children. The better they know us the more comfortable they are with us.

Before the official opening day we ask parents to come with their child to introduce their child to the teacher and the classroom. The following day we ask you to leave your child for two hours. Usually your child will cry for a short time as you leave. After three or four days we find that most children can be left for two or three days quite happily. If your child cries for up to twenty minutes we will call you.

Thankfully we are pleased to let you know that most children settle very well into nursery life and thrive on the care and love bestowed on them by their teacher.

We encourage you to visit out nursery, observe our classrooms, and meet our staff as part of your process in determining the best learning environment for your child. Feel free to call our office to arrange a convenient time to meet us and tour our facility, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Thank you for visiting our sight.
