Primary School

Welcome to Al Salam Primary

The Primary Years (Stages 1-6) at Al Salam School follow the Cambridge International Program (CIPP), and alongside our Ministry of Education (MOE) Subjects, forms the backbone of our curriculum. To ensure a broad and balanced curriculum, subject teaching in Primary includes the Humanities, Computing and Co-curricular subjects.

Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to find out what we do here in Lower Primary Al Salam School.

The Learning Programme in Lower Primary caters to young learners in Years 1, 2 and 3 where our belief that ‘responsibility leads to independence where creativity can flourish’ is cultivated amongst both teachers and children. We understand that all students are natural learners and we endeavour to meet their unique learning needs.

During these formative years, we emphasise a caring, holistic and stimulating environment where children are inspired through their learning. Our aim is to empower to become independent critical thinkers who are creative and motivated to achieve their personal best.

A very hearty and happy welcome to the Upper Primary Years at Al Salam where we envision all students to be the best that they can be!

The Learning Programme in Upper Primary is designed to maximize the potential of each student. We aspire to cultivate the children’s self-confidence, sense of responsibility and spirit of tolerance towards others so that they are able and ready to face the real world and be positive influences for change.

We believe that a happy learner is a willing learner and we provide a rich and stimulating learning environment that offers challenge at all levels.

The School edict, emphasising that “Every child is special“, is very much our driving force and inspiration. We enjoy a positive and supportive relationship with our pupils and parents, ensuring all concerned feel valued and part of our community supporting the very best outcomes for the children.
