Experience shows that shorter days in the first few days, helps the child in settling in quickly. This week, parents are most welcome to spend some time with their child in the class or in the play area to be familiarized with the nursery and the staff before the official opening day. – Please note that there is no bus service available to new children during this week. Bus will be available from the next week. No parents will be allowed inside the class after the official opening day of the nursery.

Parents are expected to show courtesy, respect and be polite to the nursery staff at all times.

For the well-being of your child and others, attending the nursery, the following sickness rules apply:

    • Parents must not send their child to nursery if he/she is unwell.
    • Parents must notify staff if they are aware their child has a contagious illness.
    • If a child becomes ill at nursery every effort will be made to contact the parents, to collect their child as soon as possible. Parents must ensure that they are contactable while their child is in the nursery’s care.

You will need to provide two snacks .Children enjoy a variety of containers with chopped up vegetables ,fruits, pasta or rice, alongside a sandwich. As certain children have allergies we don’t allow nuts in your child’s snack. We would also ask that no pork products are sent into nursery.

Throughout the year the children are transported by nursery bus to various places of interest in Dubai and Sharjah. Full details are sent to parents well in advance of the trips .Sending your child on the field trip day means you are allowing your child to participate in a visit

Please note that photographs of the nursery and the children are taken for the purpose of publicity for example the newsletter, nursery website and brochure.

A set of spare clothes are kept at nursery clearly labeled. For children in nappies, please provide a box of wet wipes and a supply of nappies for the month.

Fees are payable throughout the year, including periods during which your child is away from the nursery on account of illness or holiday.

Salam Nursery retains the right, in extreme cases, to suspend or withdraw the place of a child at the nursery in case of:

    • After discussion with the parents the staff determines that the child’s behavior cannot reasonably be accommodated within the nursery.
    • After discussion with the parent the staff determines that the child’s needs cannot reasonably be met within the nursery.
    • After repeated warning parents continue to breach nursery rules, such as the collection rule and courtesy to staff rule, etc.
